From Cairns it’s a short step to another of Australia’s unique destinations, the Daintree Rainforest. Like nowhere else in the world, this world heritage listed rainforest, unchanged for millions of years, will provide you with visual memories you’ll cherish for ever. After your several days travelling you’ll really love your stay on Lizard Island, possibly one of the world’s most exclusive resorts, with powder white beaches leading down to the vivid coral gardens of the sea. Days 1 & 2
Arrive into Melbourne
Melbourne, the capital of Victoria and a cultural hub, is known for the good things in life – fashion, food, entertainment and sport. Stay at the Park Hyatt Melbourne, situated in one of Melbourne’s historic areas and surrounded by the Fitzroy Gardens. Stay at the Park Hyatt Melbourne for two nights.
Days 3-5
Fly to Kangaroo Island via Adelaide
Separated from the Australian mainland about 9000 years ago, Kangaroo Island remains one of the most unspoilt natural wonders of the world. You’ll find kangaroos, goannas, wallabies, penguins and birds at just about every turn. Dodge the wildlife as you hike through dense bushland. Stretch out in your own secret spot along the island’s 480 kilometres of coastline. Stay at the Southern Ocean Lodge for three nights.
Day 6
Fly/drive to Adelaide and Barossa Valley

Day 7

Day 8
Adelaide, the city of churches
Adelaide is a city of great visual harmony and has a classical elegant style, superbly set beside the River Torrens between the Adelaide Hills and waters of Gulf St Vincent. The city centre, surrounded by parklands, is a charming blend of historic buildings, wide streets, groovy shops, street cafes and restaurants. Stay at the Hyatt Regency Adelaide for one night.
Days 9 & 10
Fly to the Red Centre
Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is one of Australia’s most identifiable icons. The large sandstone rock formation lies in the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park approximately 450 km southwest from Alice Springs. The Uluru/Ayers Rock site is considered sacred to the local Aborigines and its colour changes spectacularly with the setting sun, gradually turning to a deeper shade of red before fading into grey and blending into the night. The reverse can be witnessed as dawn approaches. Wake up to your own private view of the amazing sun rising over Uluru when you stay at the Luxury Camp Longitude 131° for two nights.
Days 11 & 12
Fly to Cairns and discover an ancient forest

Days 13-15
Fly to Lizard Island
Located right on the Great Barrier Reef, Lizard Island has over 1,000 hectares of National Park, 24 unspoilt beaches and an abundance of marine life. Days 16-18
Fly to Sydney and transfer to Wolgan Valley

Days 19-20
Transfer to Sydney
There is so much to do in Sydney! The harbour is breathtaking, whether you’re on it, in it or over it. Just hop on a ferry – any ferry – and go where it takes you. See some of the Pacific’s most spectacular panorama for pennies, the harbour dominated by the ‘coat hanger’ which is what the locals call the Harbour Bridge. Venture out to the heritage listed Blue Mountains, famous for its Three Sisters and quaint villages. Or go to the Hunter Valley and taste the best Semillon produced in Australia.
